My first time to use my newly imported Big Agnes Seedhouse SL2 tent. Aya and I went backpacking in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan and camped along the banks of Saiko Lake.

@solimiansky True, having those colors helps the ten to blend in and not stand out so much, makes the camping experience more natural looking.

@iteobesta Sorry, no advice, mine has been in a closet here in Florida for almost three years now. Your comment helps so when I finally do use it again, I need to make sure to air it out a few weeks in advance.

@bedarda10 I have not used my Seedhouse in a long time….thanks for the comment, I should get out and use it while the heat here in Florida is gone for a few months.
I bought a Big Agnes Seedhouse SL 2 from HumbleOutdoors for about $280.
It’s a classic design, well made, and free standing. I use it as a solo tent, so the one door is not much of a issue for me.
accidentally found this video as i was searching for the tent by name. really handy!
mine was in the closet (in japan also) for the past few years as i never got a chance to use & i’ve just set it up to see if i can get the really strange smell that’s taken over. i reckon it’s the humidity because the material is all sticky. any advice? how did you store/care for it? tx.

thanks for showing me what it looks like set up with stuff actually in it! most videos just show it empty, so it is hard to see how large it is in relation to actual people! I hope you enjoy your time with the tent.
